Texas hold’em Rules

Before the cards are dealt make sure the blinds are up! The 2 players immediately to the left of the dealer are the small and big blind respectively, meaning they are forced to put money into the pot to force the action (no more of that anti-up sh*t our grandfathers use to play with).

Each player is dealt 2 cards face down. Betting starts clock wise from the big blind. When the betting is complete the dealer burns one card face down the turns face up 3 cards (know as the FLOP) the betting starts again clockwise from the dealer. When the pot is right, dealer burns another card face down and turns over one card (called the turn).

Another round of betting occurs, and finally the dealer burns one last card and then the final card is placed ever so perfectly on the felt (known as the River).

The player at the end of all that, with the best 5 cards wins!!! That’s any combination of the 2 cards in your hand and the 5 community cards on the table.
